Where possible, we work closely with the original artist/author to bring to life the themes and ideas they have, but we will always create a selection of unique ideas
based on the original brief, to present you with as much choice as possible
Below is a detailed list of the packages we offer and the prices we charge. Any of these packages can be supplemented with
extra art, illustrations or pages etc., by visiting our additions page. To help assist your choice, we have included a link to examples of each
particular package, clicking this link will open a pop up window which will show you the relevant examples.
Please also note that no money is paid to Happy Monsters' Studios until work begins on the final design, allowing you to see what we've got, before you commit.
Cover Design 1: Basic
(Unsigned authors & bands only)
Our basic package is aimed at unsigned artists or e-book authors,
who don't want to compromise their ideas for their budget, but don't require lavish detailed graphics or artwork. Using advanced graphic
manipulation techniques and our distinguished art direction, we can make a basic photograph or simple illustrations stand as a focused and eye-catching
cover.

With the case of the standard package, the design you want very much leads the tools we use. We will use clip-art,
Photoshop tricks, illustrations & original graphics wherever the design you want is best served.
This package is all about having the creative freedom for your ideas to be realised, and for us to have the time to ensure they fulfill their potential.

If you desire a cover comprised entirely of detailed original artwork, then our deluxe package will suit your needs.
Our deluxe covers would involve either extremely heavy custom graphic work, numerous and detailed illustrations, or one complete hand painted design.
We have extensive experience with numerous painting techniques, ranging from Ecoline and oil based paints, to water colours and inks.
Using Adobe® Illustrator®, we can also create a complete digital work of art. Creating such pieces can involve weeks of work,
and so our price reflects the amount of dedication this involves.

Unlimited changes where possible
Due to the almost limitless variation of booklet design, we have decided to charge a set price for four pages. As standard these pages will include lyrics
and one piece of clip-art (such as a band photo etc.). You can then visit our additions page and add illustrations,
original artwork and light, medium or heavy graphics work to any of the pages you wish.
You also have the option to purchase one light, medium or heavy graphic from our additions page, which we can
then create a striking graphical template from, for use with all your pages. The choice of how full or basic your booklet is, is very much at your control.
